The work

Hiring of eleven (11) Air-Conditioned Taxi Vehicles under Category II (7-Seater) and Category III (5-Seater) for DPMSU, NHM Wayanad.

Vehicles shall be registered as taxis in the State of Keralam
Vehicles shall possess valid permits issued by the concerned Regional Transport Offices (RTOs)
Vehicles shall have an original registration date on or after 01/01/2022
Vehicles shall be maintained in good, clean, and roadworthy condition
Vehicles shall have clean and well-maintained seat covers and curtains
Vehicles shall have name board with black lettering on a medium-blue background

What it takes to qualify

Worth a closer look

The Service Provider shall deploy only qualified, experienced, duly licensed, well-disciplined drivers holding a valid taxi badge
The Service Provider shall be fully responsible for the safety and security of the officers/officials and any materials or store items carried in the vehicle during the period of duty
The Service Provider shall provide landline and mobile contact numbers through which requisitions for vehicles can be communicated and attended to 24 hours a day, throughout the contract period
The Service Provider shall not engage or employ any person below 18 years of age for the execution of the contract
The Service Provider shall not deploy drivers having a criminal background or involved in any such misconduct
The consumption or use of alcohol, drugs, or smoking/tobacco products by drivers during duty hours is strictly prohibited

Experience

At least 1 similar work — The bidder should preferably have at least one years of experience prior to the date of the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) in providing diesel-driven commercial air-conditioned cars under similar contracts to PSUs, Central/State Government departments, Private Limited Companies/Firms, Travel Agencies, or Rental Car Services.

Certifications and registrations

GST registrationThe Service Provider should preferably have valid GST registration and shall obtain the same within one month from the commencement of the contract if not already possessed.

PAN registrationThe Service Provider should preferably have valid PAN registration.

Documents to submit

Registration Certificate (RC)Copies of the Registration Certificates shall be submitted along with the bid.
Lease DeedsIn the case of leased vehicles, valid Lease Deeds shall be submitted along with the bid.
Police verification certificate for driversThe Service Provider shall submit a police verification certificate for each driver proposed to be deployed, issued by the Police Station having jurisdiction over the driver's place of residence.
Valid driving licence of driversAn attested copy of the valid driving licence of each driver shall be submitted to the Officer-in-Charge, DPMSU, NHM, for verification during the contractual period.
Valid Insurance PolicyAttested copies of the valid Insurance Policy of the vehicle(s) supplied under the contract shall be submitted.
Tax TokenAttested copies of the Tax Token of the vehicle(s) supplied under the contract shall be submitted.
