About this data
Award records come from official publications: the EU’s Tenders Electronic Daily, the World Bank, and national procurement systems that publish in the Open Contracting Data Standard. We show what the record says, by country and in the original currency. Amounts are never converted between currencies. For TED awards, whose values are often framework ceilings, we show counts and the median contract size rather than totals. US federal grants and cooperative agreements are financial assistance and are shown apart from contracts. Awards to individuals and sole traders are counted but never named. Suppliers are grouped by legal name, so national subsidiaries with different legal names appear separately.
