The Department of Veterans Affairs is planning design-bid-build construction to upgrade electronic health record infrastructure at VA medical centers in West Haven, Connecticut and Togus, Maine. Work covers general construction, alterations, telecommunications, electrical, heating and cooling, plumbing and hazardous waste removal, including expansion of telecommunications rooms, power upgrades, replacement of data cabling with CAT6A, and renovation of an existing data center. Each project is valued between $40M and $100M.
