The Department of Veterans Affairs needs an actuarial consulting firm to maintain, enhance and annually update the Enrollee Health Care Projection Model and other actuarial models. The work covers enrollment, utilization and cost projections for 21 years ahead, about 1,000 deliverables a year, and training and briefing materials. It runs a 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with on-site support in Washington, D.C.

- The contract program manager must be at least an Associate of the Society of Actuaries
- Tenured Principal Actuaries, Principal Actuaries and Actuary II must be at least Fellows of the Society of Actuaries
