The US Navy's Child & Youth Program is gathering information on playground equipment, structures and accessories for Child Development Centers on Navy bases in the United States and overseas. It wants inclusive, modular and sustainable play features for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, plus installation and maintenance. This is a request for information, not a contract.
Who can win it
- Vendors, contractors and installers must be Certified Playground Safety Inspectors certified by the National Recreation and Parks Association
- Foremen and lead individuals need at least five years of playground equipment installation experience
- Audit inspectors must be NRPA-certified playground safety inspectors with at least five years of audit and safety inspection experience
