The US Air Force is seeking information on commercial or non-developmental technologies to replace legacy vacuum-tube transmitters in the Unmanned Threat Emitter (UMTE) system. The new transmitter must cover 6.5 GHz to 15.5 GHz, deliver 250 W output power, and fit within existing shelter size, weight, power and cooling limits. The anticipated period of performance is a twelve-month base ordering period plus four one-year options and an optional six-month extension.
