The New York City Department of Environmental Protection intends to enter a demonstration agreement to test and evaluate an approach to paying contractors in a timely fashion. The project covers artificial intelligence review of approximately 2,400 invoices annually across capital and expense categories, a realtime cashflow and encumbrance dashboard, a structured subcontractor approval workflow, and forward-deployed engineering support, ongoing agent training and full platform management. Results will be documented and made publicly available.
