The tender in brief
Licence to commercialise NASA's Universal Modular Interface Converter for lunar power grids
NASA offers licence rights, exclusive or non-exclusive and possibly limited to specific fields of use, to commercialise its Universal Modular Interface Converter. The technology is a bidirectional, modular AC/DC power converter that transfers power between a 120 V DC space power bus and a medium-to-high-voltage, three-phase AC power grid, intended as a backbone for lunar surface power grids. NASA provides no funding with these licences and does not manufacture products for commercial sale.
