Mechanical dredging of mud and silt from the Reserve Basin and Schuylkill River access channel at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, using a sealed environmental clamshell bucket, with transport and disposal of dredge spoils at approved offsite facilities. The work includes removal of artificial obstructions and debris, utility location, and coordination of bridge lifts and ship movements. Dredging is allowed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a minimum production rate of 5,000 cubic yards per day.
