A pool of independent financial advisors for US ship-financing loan reviews, for firms with federal lending experience
The US Maritime Administration is creating a pool of independent financial advisors to analyse the economic soundness of projects seeking government-guaranteed loans under the Federal Ship Financing Program. Advisors may be asked to review financial statements, build projections and repayment models, assess markets and management, and report to the agency. Work is assigned through later requests; contracts run at government cost or at no cost to the government, with fees paid by the loan applicant.
Who can win it
- Key staff generally hold a master's degree and 5-20 years of federal lending program advisory experience
- Demonstrated prior experience with Title XI advisory work or other federal lending programs
- No conflict of interest with the agency or parties involved in the matter
