The tender in brief
TSA seeks airport body scanners for its Qualified Product List, open to original equipment manufacturers.
TSA is establishing a Qualified Product List for Advanced Imaging Technology systems used at airport checkpoints. The process covers three tracks: dynamic motion, static motion, and flexible lane systems. Applicants must be the original equipment manufacturer and provide five production representative systems for testing. The list remains open until TSA closes it.
Who can win it
- Must be the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the product
- Track 0: system must have passed or be undergoing Readiness Testing at TSL
- Track 1: system must have a TSA Certification Letter for Tier IV Detection
