USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service is buying frozen ground bison and bison stew meat for federal food and nutrition assistance programs. Products must meet federal purchase specifications for domestic origin, humane handling, pathogen reduction, fat limits, packaging and labeling. Contractors must first have their technical proposal and facility approved.
