The US Navy seeks contractors for ship repair, modernization and dry-docking maintenance of forward-deployed vessels in Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan. Work includes two selected restricted availabilities of about four to five months each, two surface incremental availabilities in Yokosuka and three in Sasebo of about three months each, plus other maintenance as required. It is a single-award, firm-fixed-price service contract.
Who can win it
- Current Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair with the US Navy, or a plan to obtain one before award
- Demonstrated recent naval or commercial ship repair, modernization, maintenance availability and/or dry-docking experience
- Ability to support shipboard work in an operational waterfront environment in Yokosuka and/or Sasebo, Japan
