The tender in brief

Supply of electrical wires, cables and general hardware to the Indian Army in Kargil, for local suppliers with 3 years' turnover and supply experience.

The Indian Army's 18 Engineer Regiment is buying 3,952 units of electrical wires, cables, lighting, switches, cement, sand and other hardware for delivery to Kargil. The contract is a straight supply order with a 60-day delivery period per item. Only Class 1 or Class 2 local suppliers under the Make in India rules may bid.

Who can win it

• Average annual turnover of at least INR 3 lakh over the last 3 years
• At least 3 years' experience supplying similar products to government or PSU buyers
• Must be a Class 1 or Class 2 local supplier under the Make in India order
