The contract is awarded through a two-packet GeM bid with a reverse auction among technically qualified bidders.

Who can win it

• Bidder or its OEM must have manufactured and supplied same or similar category products to a Central/State Government organisation or PSU for 3 financial years
• Bidder or its OEM must have supplied same or similar products equal to 50% of the bid quantity in at least one of the last three financial years to a Central/State Government organisation or PSU
• Only Class-I and Class-II local suppliers as per the Make in India order are eligible; non-local suppliers cannot bid
