Supply of 15,850 metres of 1.1 kV XLPE cable to Northern Railway, for makers of BIS-certified cable

Northern Railway is buying 15,850 metres of XLPE cable rated up to 1.1 kV, 4-core, 35 sq mm aluminium conductor, marked to IS 7098 (Part 1). Delivery is to the Office of the SrDMM, Store Branch, New Delhi within 60 days. It is a single-packet supply contract with pre-dispatch inspection by RITES.

Who can win it

• Must be a Class 1 or Class 2 local supplier under the Make in India order
• Must have supplied the same or similar cable for 20% of the bid quantity in one of the last three financial years to a government body or PSU
• Must hold a valid BIS licence for IS 7098 Part 1:2025 or latest for the offered product
