Supply of 240 four-seater steel benches for Indian Railways, for makers of steel seating with past supply to government

West Central Railway is buying 240 four-seater stainless steel benches with backrests for waiting areas. The contract covers supply, installation, testing, commissioning and operator training, delivered to the DRM Office in Habibganj within 60 days. It is a single-packet GeM bid with pre-dispatch inspection by RITES.

Who can win it

• Must have supplied the same or similar category products for at least 20% of the bid quantity in one of the last three financial years to a Central/State Government organisation or PSU
• Only Class 1 or Class 2 local suppliers under the Make in India order may bid; non-local suppliers are not eligible
• Must provide a bid-specific authorisation directly from the original equipment manufacturer
