Evaluation of the pilot phase of Marine Recovery Action Plans

Natural England

Natural England in the United Kingdom is inviting bids for “Evaluation of the pilot phase of Marine Recovery Action Plans”. Bids close on 16 October 2026, 12:00 BST; the estimated value is £35,000. askTender lists every requirement to qualify and checks whether your company meets them.

The work

Natural England testing a proposed process for developing Marine Recovery Action Plans (M-RAPs), and requires a light touch process evaluation (in keeping with the overall scale of the project) at two pilot M-RAP sites. The requirement is in two parts: (1) refining the existing draft evaluation plan and carrying out baseline evidence collection (to be completed by March 2027); and (2) collecting evidence at the project mid-point and conclusion to complete the evaluation, as well as scoping the outcome evaluation (to be completed by March 2028). Progress to Part 2 will be subject to the availability and confirmation of ongoing funding. The two pilot sites are separated geographically (Yorkshire and North Devon/the Severn Estuary), and it is preferred for the successful contractor to have personnel (or use subcontractors) located in both sites
