The U.S. Army seeks an experienced automation integrator to design, develop and deploy a turn-key automated manufacturing system for artillery cannon minor components at Watervliet Arsenal. The line machines ring-shaped parts of about 7 inches outside diameter from carbon and stainless steel, with raw stock of 50-60 pounds. Solutions must cover robotics and material handling, process controls, in-line inspection, telemetry and safety automation.
