The U.S. Army's Watervliet Arsenal seeks an advanced CNC vertical turning center with a pallet system to fit an existing foundation pit. The machine must have at least 4 axes, part and tool probes, a live spindle, C-axis rotary table, automatic tool and pallet changers, a linear pallet system for 10 or more pallets, and 6 pallets with adjustable 4-jaw chucks. It must be no taller than 19 feet and discharge chips at floor level.
