Sole-source security system upgrade at Joint Base Andrews for the incumbent certified integrator

Joint Base Andrews requires procurement, installation and integration of a Security Management System for a specific facility, including high-definition cameras, PIV-class card readers, servers, server software and licences. The system must be certified to Department of Defense and Air Force Protection Level 1 standards and compatible with the existing proprietary intrusion detection system and base network. The notice is an intent to award to M.C. Dean, Inc.; it is not a request for proposals.

Who can win it

• Only the vendor whose equipment is certified and compatible with the existing base head-end software and network backbone
• Systems must hold DoD JSIDS and USAF Protection Level 1 non-nuclear security certifications
• The required components and integration service are provided by M.C. Dean Inc
