How filing works in Australia
You work on the portal under your own login. In Australia, the client adds you as a named user on its account on AusTender: you prepare, upload and, on the client's written go-ahead, submit under your own login.
The client keeps its own login, the administrator role and every signature only it may give. You never use its credentials.

Rules we follow in Australia
- Registered tax agent (often a CA ANZ, CPA Australia or IPA member). Only a registered tax agent may charge or receive a fee for a tax agent service (TASA s50-5). ABN applications, GST registration and dealing with the ATO all count as tax agent services, so askTender itself must not charge for them. The client must nominate the agent personally in Online services for business (client-to-agent linking). The agent can't do the nomination for the client and can't use the client's myID.
- Australian legal practitioner (solicitor). ASCR 12.4.3: a solicitor may accept a benefit from a referral only after telling the client that a commission or benefit may be payable and that the client may refuse the referral, and only with the client's informed consent. ASCR 40.1 bars sharing legal-fee receipts with disqualified persons or people with certain indictable-offence findings. ASCR 11.2 stops a solicitor or law practice acting for clients with…
- Justice of the Peace (JP). A JP can't charge a fee to witness a Commonwealth statutory declaration, so no paid JP jobs. JPs can't certify documents for use overseas; that needs a notary.
- IRAP assessor (ASD-endorsed Infosec Registered Assessors Program). IRAP assessors don't accredit, endorse or register systems for ASD. An assessment doesn't by itself mean a system complies with the controls tested.
- Bid or tender writer (unregulated). AusTender treats a lodged response as authorised by the tenderer (Terms of Use 1.6.8), so the client must approve the final content. ATM material is copyright and may not be reproduced, re-transmitted, distributed or commercialised without written approval (Terms of Use 5.4 and 5.5).
